Digital Products Overview
All website templates, UI component packs, and digital design assets on PrebuiltUI are non-tangible, digital goods delivered via electronic download links and account access.
Because digital source code and assets are immediately accessible and cannot be physically returned or revoked once downloaded, all sales are generally final and non-refundable, except under the specific circumstances outlined below.
We strongly encourage you to explore our live template previews, inspect component demos, and review technology stack requirements (e.g., Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS) prior to completing your purchase.
Eligibility for Refund Exceptions
We want you to have a positive experience with PrebuiltUI. We will review and may grant refund requests under the following eligible conditions:
1. Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchased the same template license more than once for the same account or email address within 48 hours, we will promptly refund the duplicate transaction upon verification.
2. Verified Critical Technical Defects
If you discover a verifiable, critical defect in the template source code that prevents it from compiling or functioning as advertised, and our engineering support team is unable to provide a fix or workaround within 5 business days of receiving your report, you are eligible for a full refund.
3. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Charges
If a purchase was made fraudulently using your payment credentials without your authorization, we will process a refund following verification with our payment gateway providers.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
- Change of Mind: You decide you no longer want or need the template after downloading or accessing the source code.
- Lack of Technical Expertise: You do not have sufficient technical familiarity with the advertised technology stack (e.g., TypeScript, Next.js App Router, Tailwind CSS). Prerequisites are clearly specified on each product page.
- Third-Party Dependency Changes: Subsequent updates or changes made by third-party frameworks, NPM packages, or hosting providers after template release.
- Custom Modifications: Issues or conflicts that arise as a result of custom code modifications, external library integrations, or backend changes made after downloading.
- Missed Discounts or Sales: Inability to apply promotional coupons or discounts post-purchase.
License Tier Upgrades and Exchanges
If you purchased a Standard License and realize you need an Extended License or Developer License, you do not need to request a refund. Contact our support team, and we will gladly credit your initial purchase toward an upgraded license tier.
How to Submit a Refund Request
If your situation meets our exception criteria, please submit your refund request within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date:
- Send an email to contact@prebuiltui.com with the subject line:
Refund Request - [Your Order/License ID]. - Include your purchase email address, transaction reference, date of purchase, and the name of the template.
- Provide a clear description and supporting evidence (such as screenshots, error logs, or terminal output) explaining the technical defect or reason for your request.
Processing Time and Method
Once your refund request is approved:
- Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used during checkout (credit card, debit card, or third-party payment provider).
- Funds typically reflect in your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment institution.
License Cancellation Upon Refund
When a refund is issued for a template purchase:
- Your license key and usage permissions are permanently revoked and deactivated.
- You must immediately delete and destroy all downloaded copies of the source files, assets, and derivative files in your possession.
- You may not use, publish, or deploy any projects built with the refunded template.
